Meenakshi Patel MD


Dr. Meenakshi Patel is a board certified internist/geriatrician with additional boards in Hospice and palliative care. She has been in practice in the Dayton area for 33 years and has a special interest in the treatment of diabetes cardiac disease and dementia. She runs phase 2 and 3 clinical trials at her office. She is married to Mayank Patel who works at Wright Patterson Air Force base and has a son Milan who is a senior financial analyst in the Columbus area.


Chethana Raghypathy MD

President Elect

Dr. Raghupathy has been practicing in the Greater Dayton area since 2002 and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is passionate about educating her patients on their medical problems and thereby empowering them in managing their health. She believes in giving back to the community and has organized fundraising events in favor of local charities. in her spare time, she trains interested students in Indian classical dance and has performed in various local cultural festivals. She enjoys spending her spare time with her husband, Santhosh, children, Rachana and Pavan, and playful goldendoodle, Sona.

Kirshan Lal MD


Dr. Kirshan Lal, MD graduated from the Sind Medical College at the University of Karachi, Pakistan and went on to complete his residency in Internal Medicine at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Lal’s commitment to his patients mirrors the network’s mission to improve the quality of life of the people in the communities we serve.


Ashok Ammula, MD


Dr.Ashok Ammula has been a nephrologist practicing in the Dayton area since 2008. He also volunteers at the Reach Out clinic of Montgomery and in a rural health clinic near Hyderabad when he gets a chance.

He is married to Dr. Mridula Reddy who is an Oncologist at Atrium medical Center. They have 3 children. He likes to read and go hiking in his spare time.

Jhansi Koduri, MD

Past President

Dr. Jhansi Koduri is board certified in hematology/oncology/palliative care, Associate Professor at Wright State University, part of hematology/oncology fellowship training program, caring for cancer patients in The Greater Dayton Area since 1998. She believes in a holistic approach and privileged to be part of many cancer journeys, culminating in the journey of hope with many success stories and life celebrations. One of her passions is formatting health initiatives in collaboration with local organizations to educate and improve the health of our Dayton community.

She is married to Dr..Annadorai Kalahasthy, internist in Dayton area and feels blessed with two loving children, Shravan Venkat and Mahathi Priya.  

Her most recent awards include:
“The Bravo 2018 Community Model” winner at The Guild supporting the Dayton Opera.
“Woman of the year” MWOY 2019 campaign, leukemia lymphoma Society.
She currently serves as board member at Miami Valley Hospital foundation and for the love of children.
She also serves as Community advisory board member at Dayton Daily News.
She also serves as Health care committee chair at Asian American Council.
She also served on the Leukemia Lymphoma Society Leadership committee and Pink Ribbon girls board.
